The combat is so broken you can simply walk backwards while they run towards you and hit the enemies until they die. This, in addition to being poor developer design, is a big problem with the Game Guru engine. The A.I seems incapable of handling any complex movements.You get a bow that does an insane amount of damage compared to the melee weapons. It one-shots pretty much everything, including boss monsters (which are just the same skeleton but bigger).The levels are at least created by the developer I think, which is a step up from the usual Game Guru stuff I cover. They are nothing special but they at least have a little bit of exploration for items. Most of the time it just turns into running around until you find an exit or key.The game looks like garbage, but that's a Game Guru trademark. There is an awful fog effect though that hampers your vision after 10 feet and makes it incredibly hard to see where you are going.The game is permadeath and I'm pretty sure that's because the developer didn't know how to make custom save points. If you die you need to restart at the first level again, which is ridiculous. The levels are so easy and boring that I almost made it to the end, then stepped into a spike trap that instantly killed me. There was no way I ever wanted to go through all those levels again, even if it only took roughly 20 minutes.It should be pretty obvious this game isn't good from looking at the screenshots.
